Mini-Leap to Lima
Explore the city with your fellow Turtles.
Bring Your Own Lodging (BYOL)
Lima is one of South America’s most fascinating capital cities, and we’re excited to experience it together on this one-week Mini-Leap.
We’ll spend an unforgettable week exploring the vibrant neighborhoods of Miraflores and Barranco, walking along the dramatic Pacific coastline, discovering colorful markets, visiting historic plazas, snapping photos of colonial architecture, and enjoying some of the incredible food that has made Lima one of the world’s great culinary destinations.
Lima has so much to offer, but the destination is only part of the experience. The real magic happens through the friendships, conversations, shared meals, and spontaneous adventures that develop when a group of like-minded Turtles spends a week exploring together.
Because accommodations are not included, you’re free to stay wherever best fits your travel style and budget. We’ll recommend a neighborhood after you sign up so we can all stay in the same area, making it easy to join the group each day while giving you complete flexibility.
Whether you’re curious about Peru, looking for your next slow travel destination, or simply want to spend a week making new friends while exploring one of South America’s most captivating cities, this Mini-Leap to Lima is an experience you won’t want to miss.

Lima is an excellent city for a one-week Mini-Leap. Its coastal setting, walkable neighborhoods, rich history, and world-renowned food scene make it easy to settle in and start exploring from day one.
Our Mini-Leap takes place in late February, during Lima’s summer. Expect warm temperatures in the upper 70s to mid-80s°F (26–30°C), with plenty of sunshine and very little rain. Lima offers an incredible blend of history, culture, ocean views, and unforgettable cuisine, making it an ideal destination for travelers who want to discover one of South America’s most dynamic and rewarding cities.
